Macomb County seeking Business Awards nominations
It’s that time of the year again, when the Macomb County Department of Planning and Economic Development begins accepting nominations for the annual Macomb County Business Awards. We encourage all Macomb County businesses to participate in this event. Show us how you succeed, learn how peers in your industry are excelling and most importantly, let us recognize you!
Companies or organizations that fall into one of these six categories are encouraged to self-nominate:
Champion of Workforce Development – utilizing innovative practices for hiring, training and retaining employees.
Corporate Citizen – meaningful community engagement through service and financial support.
Diversification Leader – success in generating new revenue through new industries and/or markets.
Efficiency Expert – success in increasing cash flow through process and/or energy efficiencies.
Model of OneMacomb – outstanding achievement in cultivating an environment where diversity and inclusion are valued.
Startup Business of the Year – in operation for four years or less with more than two employees.
Nominations will be accepted Oct. 5 through Nov. 3, 2015. The online nomination form will be available on the MacombBusiness.com website beginning Oct. 5. The awards breakfast will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016.
