The County Executive Office makes recommendations for individuals to serve on various boards, committees and organizations based on their knowledge, expertise and interest.  Some of the positions are locally-based, regional or statewide.  While we all know Macomb County’s business community is rife with great leaders, so too should the greater metropolitan region and the state of Michigan.

Currently, there is an opening on the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.  This organization makes decisions about how state and federal funds for the arts are spent throughout Michigan.  Unfortunately, there is not a single Macomb County resident on the board.  If you are interested, please send your name and background information to Sarah Cormier at cormier@macombgov.org.
