Vendors sought for annual Sprint and Splash event
Registration has begun for the 6th Annual Sprint and Splash Festival of Races! This event, held Saturday, June 17, is a fantastic chance to get outdoors and experience Macomb County’s beautiful natural assets and offers great promotional opportunities for your business!
Sprint and Splash features a variety of competitive events for participants to choose:
- 6-mile sanctioned standup paddleboard race
- Duathlon – a 5K run and 2-mile paddle (kayak or standup paddleboard) combination
- 5K Fun Run/Walk
- 2-mile recreational standup paddleboard race.
All registered racers will receive free breakfast, a finisher medal, T-shirt and swag bag.
The event offers a festival atmosphere, featuring multiple races, music, food, craft beer and a Beach Village consisting of a multitude of vendors. With more than 1,000 participants and spectators expected, Sprint and Splash is the perfect event to sell your products or pass out promotional items.
Vendor registration for the Beach Village is still open. For $275, the vendor’s logo will be featured on SprintandSplash.com and the race T-shirts, they will have a presence at the event with a 10-by-10-foot booth space, and their promotional items will be included in 400 runners’ bags.
Other opportunities for sponsoring Sprint & Splash are also available. The Wave Runner Bag Sponsor ($750) offers major exposure as a sponsor of the participant bags, which are given to all individuals entering any of the events. Another great sponsorship opportunity is the Race Awards Sponsor ($2,000). At this sponsorship level, your company’s logo will be prominently displayed on the lanyards of all finisher medals, which every participant receives. All sponsors will have their organization’s logo on the website and race T-shirts.
Sprint and Splash serves the unique purpose of acting as a fundraiser for organizations that promote and celebrate Lake St. Clair. Truly the heart of the Great Lakes, Lake St. Clair is one of the largest freshwater fisheries in North America and also one of the busiest recreational waterways in the Midwest. By sponsoring this event, you are supporting organizations that are working to improve the regional economy by increasing tourism to Lake St. Clair and its coastal communities while also striving to protect and restore Lake St. Clair, the Clinton River and the surrounding natural areas.
