Michigan Works! employer training funds available
The Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Development Board will host an informational session for Michigan employers on the 2019 Going PRO Talent Fund (GPTF), formerly known as the Skilled Trades Training Fund (STTF). The GPTF is a state-funded program that offers funding for employee training.
Tech-Line Automation and Michigan Works! in Macomb County were bestowed with the Michigan Works! Association Prosperity Award at a ceremony held April 22 in Lansing. This award was established to honor those who create jobs, provide high-quality training, and strengthen Michigan’s talent pool. The award is given to local leaders who are actively making a difference in their communities.
The mission of the Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Development Board is to integrate those youth and adults facing barriers to employment into the labor force by providing Customer Driven job training and other employability support services that will result in increased levels of : Employment, Opportunities, Wage Earnings and Enhanced Educational and Occupational Skills.
